I was a musician for a couple decades and one thing I take away from that experience is that I don’t easily get blown away. Thrilled, maybe. Excited, sure. But blown away – only on special occasions…and I wasn’t the only one at the Songwriters Circle in that state. When ever it was Emma-Lee’s turn to sing, the other songwriters, all fine musicians, sat and watched her with their mouths hanging open (I have pictures to prove it). And when she did Flow, I’m pretty sure a couple of them contemplated hanging it all up forever. Continue reading →
